I love it when my clients bring in inspiration photos for their hair. But sometimes what we love in a picture will not look the same on us. Here’s why...

When you sit in my chair I am looking at your eye color and skin tone to determine if you have warm or cool undertones. When I look at the photos you bring in I do the same. My next step is looking at the natural base color too see if it is similar to yours. These are the things that can make or break how you feel about your hair when we’re done.

Pictures can help a lot! But overall there is nothing like creating a custom blonde that works perfectly for YOU.

Do you ever wonder which brush to use on your hair?

Here’s a quick breakdown for you!

Paddle Brush: Great for detangling, helps smooth out hair while blow drying.

Vent Brush: Designed with wide spaces between each row to help the air flow through and dry your hair faster. (Less bristles can mean less control while styling, but will allow the air to get in and dry it faster)

Boar Bristle: Think smooth and shiny. Boar bristles can also help distribute your natural oils through the hair to help condition.

Round Brush: Create volume and waves. Vented round brushes also help air flow for faster drying. The metal barrel acts like a hot tool from the warmth of the dryer to help shape the hair.

Square Brush: Straight, volume, wavy will all be capable with this brush. Good tension and a flat side can help you get a smooth look, use the edges to create lift, volume and wave.
