Watching people light up in your chair as they start feeling themselves and over load on the confidence is an UNMATCHED feeling. 10/10 would choose this profession over and over again 💕😮‍💨

Things I do as a MUA to ensure a flawless base ✨⬇️

• Skin prep is non-negotiable. You can’t skip this step and expect flawless makeup. I always start with exfoliation for a clean base, followed by a hydrating toner or serum, moisturizer, and under-eye cream.

Pro tip: I use my hands to massage everything into the skin. This ensures no excess product is left behind, boosts circulation, de-puffs the face, and helps clients relax 🫶🏼

• Foundation is applied only where needed. I build coverage strategically instead of covering the entire face, and I avoid it in areas where concealer will go to prevent product buildup and cakiness.

Pro tip: Avoid under eyes and ALWAYS blend down the neck

• Concealer goes on after liquid blush so everything melts seamlessly together.

• Setting matters. I first set with a lightly powdered brush to avoid product breakup, then go in with a powder puff for baking.

• Pressed powder at the end, under the eyes and to clean up nose and cheek contour for a filtered look.

• Setting spray is the final lock 🔒

Pro tip: Use a melting spray after baking to bring life back into the skin, and again before highlighting to really amplify the glow ✨
