If you’re new here, one thing you’re going to hear me talk about a lot is your wash routine.
You CAN NOT have healthy hair without consistently cleansing and conditioning—it’s the foundation, every time.
When I’m working with my clients to refine their routine, I always tell them: THESE are the products worth your money. Shampooing isn’t just about getting your hair “clean"- you’re removing product buildup, sweat, and everything your hair has been exposed to… while also allowing water—aka hydration—plus nutrients and key ingredients enter the scalp and strands.
Your results don’t start with styling… they start right there!!
I have a new toy!🫶🏾🫶🏾
I'm willing to try anything that helps me work smarter, not harder. This clip helps save time by reducing much clipping and sectioning I have to do when styling and coloring.
We may change, but He never will....

This one is for the folks who ask,“Why do we always have to cut so much?” 👀
Well, it’s usually because you keep waiting too long.
When trims are spaced too far apart, those tiny splits travel. What could’ve been a dusting turns into inches because the damage kept moving up the strand.
Let's be very clear, regardless of what the commercial$ and the package$ and the influencer$ and brand ambassador$ tell you: SPLIT ENDS DO NOT HEAL. They only continue to unravel until they’re fully removed.
Anybody remember getting a run in your stockings and trying to stop it with clear nail polish?
If you didn’t catch it at the very top of the run — if you polished the wrong spot — it kept running.
Hair is the same way.
If we only cut “some of it” but leave the part where the strand is still splitting? It keeps splitting. Then you’re back in the chair saying, “I feel like my hair isn't growing", or "why does my hair feel thin again at the ends?”
Because the run never stopped.
Holding onto dead ends for the sake of length will cost you more length later.
Healthy hair is maintained in small, consistent trims every 2-3 months — not dramatic rescue missions every 6 months. Not only will they help you retain length, but they will cut down on your detangling time AND give your hair more bouce and movement; who doesn't want that?!
For my curly/coily peeps:
✂️when you start seeing small hair balls everywhere in the bathroom, you're overdue for a trim.
✂️if you're hearing a snapping sound when you comb/detangle your hair, you're overdue for a trim.
✂️if detangling your hair, wet or dry, takes hours, you're overdue for a trim.
I’m not cutting “extra.”
I’m cutting exactly where the integrity stops.
And if you trust me to grow it, you have to trust me to protect it ✂️✨
