‼️ DISGRACED DOCTOR‼️ As reported exclusively by myself and our team at 6 News KCEN TV the former Medical Director of Luxe Med Spa in Wortham, Dr. Michael Patrick Gallagher turned himself into authorities after an arrest warrant was issued on 25 charges including MURDER in connection to the death of Fairfield woman Jenifer Cleveland, a wife and mother who went to Luxe Med Spa in July 2023 and died after an IV treatment.

Below is the mug shot from the Freestone County Jail and in the comments I posted court documents detailing the charges which are similar to the med spa owner Amber Johnson’s charges who also turned herself into authorities but has since bonded out.

Gallagher is also out on a $96,500 bond.

🚨Med Spa Investigation: Charges Filed in 2023 Death🚨

Nearly three years after Jenifer died following a procedure at a Wortham med spa, Johnson is now facing 14 criminal charges, including felony murder, manslaughter, and criminally negligent homicide.

Investigators say Jenifer became unresponsive after an IV treatment in July 2023 and was rushed to a hospital in Mexia, where she later died.

According to investigators, the IV infusion included TPN electrolytes, a prescription solution known to carry risks. Authorities also allege Johnson was able to obtain and administer prescription substances using the credentials of Dr. Michael Patrick Gallagher, who was listed as the spa’s medical director at the time.

Now, the case is being prosecuted by the Texas Attorney General’s Office.

💔Jenifer’s story also led to change, with her family helping push forward “Jenifer’s Law” to strengthen safety at med spas across Texas.

NOW almost 3 years later…

6 News KCEN TV can exclusively confirm she turned herself into the Freestone County Jail today and has since bonded out on a $69,000 bond. Her booking photo will be available soon.

According to the Freestone County Jail these are the charges she’s facing:

The Texas Attorney General’s office is prosecuting this case.

The Cleveland Family along with lawmakers including Angelia Orr for Texas successfully passed Jenifer’s law to better protect patients at med spas across Texas. The family has been seeking justice in both the criminal case and pending civil case.

We reached out to Johnson’s last known attorney who says they do not represent her.
