Hi friends 💕

I wanted to share something a little personal with all of you.

After months of appointments, tests, unanswered questions, and trying to figure out why I wasn’t feeling like myself, I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis.

Before this year, I honestly didn’t know much about it. If you’re like I was, you may have heard the word but never really understood what it meant.

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus. It can cause severe pelvic pain, bloating, fatigue, digestive issues, painful periods, and pain that can extend into the back, hips, legs, and even other areas of the body. One of the hardest parts is that symptoms can change from day to day—and because it’s an invisible illness, someone can look completely fine while feeling anything but.

As a hairstylist, my job is physically demanding. I’m on my feet for long hours, lifting my arms all day, and giving every client my full attention and energy. Some days, endometriosis may mean I need to slow down, take a break between appointments, or occasionally reschedule if I’m experiencing a flare.

I want you to know that I don’t take that lightly.

Orion Blue Hair Studio is my heart. I love what I do, and taking care of each of you is one of my greatest joys. My commitment to providing you with quality service isn’t changing—I’m simply learning how to care for my health while continuing to care for you.

If you’ve ever wondered why someone cancels plans, leaves early, or says they’re exhausted despite looking “fine,” this is a reminder that not every illness is visible.

To anyone else living with endometriosis or another invisible illness: I see you 😘

And to my amazing clients, thank you for always supporting me through every season of life. Your kindness, patience, and understanding mean more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for allowing me the grace to navigate this new chapter while continuing to do what I love.
