Electrolysis is a FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal, destroying individual hair follicles using heat or chemical energy via a tiny probe. It works on all skin and hair colors, including blonde and gray, and is ideal for both the face and body.
How It Works:
During a session, a licensed esthetician & certified electrologist inserts a very fine, sterile probe into the hair follicle opening alongside the hair shaft. A tiny burst of electrical current is transmitted to destroy the hair's growth center, and the hair is subsequently removed with tweezers.
There are three methods used:
Thermolysis: Uses high-frequency current to generate heat that destroys the follicle.
Galvanic: Uses a direct current to produce a chemical reaction that eliminates hair growth cells.
Blend: Combines both Thermolysis and Galvanic methods for enhanced effectiveness.

We like to use this method after a series of laser hair removal or when trying to eliminate gray hairs.
