One of my faves came into see me, I brightened her up for summer! I did a full teased highlight and a blended money piece to keep her grow out soft and natural! Always a joy to have Victoria in my chair! 💕

I have to take a moment to truly appreciate the salon that I work for. This last week, pretty much every curveball was thrown at us. From having the ac go out to our main water line breaking (thanks to the construction workers in cane bay 🫠) we all came together as a team and we got what we needed done! I am so proud of how we continue to grow, our professionalism, and our team work. Our owner was there for us every single moment to make sure everything was back up and running and we as a team are so so thankful for Andy.

In the beginning I had moments when I thought I couldn’t do hair for a living. I had someone tell me “I lost my passion” without even giving me the chance, and as much as that hurt in that moment, I am glad it didn’t stop me from doing what I love. The real secret to this career is finding the right area to work in and the people you work for. Once I did, everything made sense.

My career is more than just hair. I create relationships with my clients. I know when birthdays are for them, I hear the most exciting news when they sit in my chair, and often times my clients sit in my chair because they need to vent. I am so happy to offer a safe space from them to talk to me about anything and everything.

Okay, I am done rambling. Yesterday my client of almost 4 years came into see me and we did a partial to brighten up for summer!

It’s been a minute insta, I have to say the amount of growth I have had in just a year makes my heart so happy. Between skill and the amount of clients I have gained. I am truly living my dream 🤍

Today I had the pleasure of having this sweet and amazing client in my chair. She comes in twice a year to refresh her color. Yes I typed that right. At home care is super important when it comes to vivid colors. She uses the proper shampoo and conditioner and uses minimal heat.

Another thing to keep in mind the amount of time and product that goes into something like this. She sat in my chair at 10am and left at 4pm. I am so happy to have clients that believe in me and my craft. I can’t thank everyone enough. 🤍

For those asking, I root melted with 4-99, 4-88, and 4-0 equal parts with royal. And also did her high lights with . At the top I used passion berry melted into equal parts of red and ruby red, mids I melted in orange made with yellow and red, and finally melted yellow on her ends. And also used all my fave brushes from 🤍
