Day 29 of ASCEND being closed. I came up to water the plants and to just sit for a while and reflect. I haven’t really allowed myself to truly feel these ambivalent emotions. I am overcome with sadness, anxiousness, fear, and hopelessness. I miss my clients and the ability to brighten their days. I feel as though my purpose has been ripped away from me and it is crushing. I have allowed myself to feel all the negativity but I have also come to realize how truly grateful I am. For ASCEND, for my clients, my ability to do what I love, and to be able to take this time to continue the never ending cycle of learning to perfect my craft.
