I ❤️ braiding hair

⚠️ PLEASE make sure you are moisturizing your braids! & not just your scalp 🤏🏽

Most braiding gels contain alcohol which pulls moisture out of your hair. Gels can also create a stiff “cast” that blocks moisture from getting in.

For my daughter, I like to use blue magic and I spray her braids with water DAILY. She has soft hair but it’s long and thick and healthy DESPITE it ALWAYS being braided.

Protective styles only work if you’re actually protecting your hair 👑
