- ‼️no workouts, pools, hot tubs, s*x, or sauna for 48 hours! why? your pores are open! filling them with sweat and chemicals is just begging for ingrown hairs. your skin is freshly exfoliated, friction is a no-go.

- exfoliation 2/3 times a week. this keeps the dead skin out of the way so your new baby hairs can pop through the skin easier.

- moisturizing! keeping the skin soft and hydrated also helps those fresh hairs get through easier.

- epsom salt baths or soaks! if you are ingrown prone, this is one of the first recommendations. a 20 min soak can help clear up your skin and prevent new spots from becoming irritated.

- ✨treatments. if your skin is still not where you’d like it to be we can also discuss at home treatments or service treatments! i’ve got a hungarian mud mask that does a great job of detoxing, and we have red light therapy that can greatly improve your skins healing! plus a wonderful line of products for you to use at home to keep your skin clear, soft, and summer ready.

i started my esthetics journey eight years ago because i wanted a job that i could do anywhere, and that i could do in a bunch of different ways. being an esthetician grants me both of those things, but it gives me so much more than that. i am so eternally grateful for this career and the life that it’s given me. having a job that lets me be creative and work independently while still having a community for support, is something i will never take for granted. i am so thankful that i get to spend my days, and months, and years, getting to know you, getting to make you feel good about yourself, getting to share your time and your stories. some of you have been with me for all 8 years, some 7 or 6, some off and on, some pop in from different states even, and it might seem small to some, but that kind of loyalty and longevity, that kind of trust, means the world to me.
