To my clients,

Thank you for your love and support this past year! I am truly blessed to work in such an amazing profession. As many know, I'm expecting a little one in October! So unfortunately I will be temporarily closing my business to focus on baby boy and personal life, until after we are settled.

✨ What is LED light therapy? ✨

LED (Light-emitting diode) light therapy is mainly focused on skincare!

There are different wavelengths of the visible light spectrum, each corresponding to different colors and penetrating the skin to different depths. LED light produces different effects depending on the level of skin it penetrates.

🔴 Red light is used to treat the outermost layer of skin, otherwise known as the epidermis. It is thought that when this layer of skin absorbs infrared light, the fibroblast cells that are responsible for the production of collagen proteins are then stimulated. The increase in collagen production can make the skin look smoother, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles!

🔵 Blue light is most often used to treat acne. It may do this by reducing activity in the sebaceous glands, so they produce less of the oil that can plug hair follicles, leading to acne. Blue light may also kill acne-causing bacteria known as Cutibacterium acnes.

🟡 Yellow light is best known for skin cell rejuvenation and its soothing anti-inflammatory benefits. It also boosts lymphatic flow, which removes toxins and waste from the skin and promotes anti-aging. Reduces pigmentation, such as sun damage, age spots, redness, and even rosacea.

🟢 Green light is used to address hyperpigmentation, freckles, and age spots by breaking down clusters of melanin that form discolorations. It can also assist as a soothing and firming treatment to promote a balanced and youthful complexion.
