Schedule Update

This is Week 1 of my new schedule, and I’m currently working about 53 hours a week between my two jobs.

I’m also already booked about 4 weeks out, so my salon availability is extremely limited right now.

I’m going to give this new schedule a 6-week trial, through October 2, and see how it goes.

If you already have an appointment scheduled with me, please know that I might not be able to book your next appointment (depending on your interval). I’m doing my very best to fit in as many of my regular clients as I can, but with my limited hours and being booked so far out, there simply may not be enough flexibility.

I also want to be upfront that switching days or times will be very difficult, so I may not be able to move appointments around if something comes up.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding while I figure out what this new schedule looks like.

I’ll have a much better idea by October 2 of what is realistically sustainable moving forward.

One Week to Go

One more week until my schedule changes significantly!

As I get ready to make this transition, I want to take a moment to say thank you to every client—past and present—who has trusted me with your hair over the years. After 37 years behind the chair, I am incredibly grateful for the relationships, conversations, laughs, and friendships that have come along with this career.

Beginning August 24, my availability will be much more limited. I know this means I won't be able to accommodate everyone the way I have in the past, and I won't have the flexibility to squeeze people in, add extra hours, or move appointments around like I used to.

If I can't fit you into my new schedule, please know it is not personal and it is not because I don't appreciate you. There simply won't be enough appointment time to continue serving everyone.

I appreciate your understanding, your patience, and most of all, your support as I make this next chapter work. ❤️

A little scheduling update-

This is my last full week before I significantly reduce my salon availability beginning August 24.

I’m already very booked for the next 4–6 weeks, so if you’re hoping to get an appointment with me, please reach out sooner rather than later. My availability will be much more limited moving forward, and I may not be able to accommodate everyone the way I have in the past.

As I transition to my new work schedule and reduce my salon availability, I am also simplifying my service menu. Effective immediately, I will no longer be offering waxing services.

For 37 years, it has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to care for your hair and be part of your stories.

Beginning August 24, I'll be making a significant change to my work schedule, which means my availability at Mane Designs will be much more limited.

This has been a difficult decision, but it's the right one for this season of my life. While I won't be able to accommodate all of my clients moving forward, I want every one of you to know how incredibly grateful I am for your trust, loyalty, and friendship over the years.

Thank you for allowing me to do what I love for so long. Whether I've been your stylist for 30 years or 30 days, I appreciate you more than you know.

I'm looking forward to this next chapter and to continuing to serve as many of you as my new schedule allows.

I've been reflecting a lot lately.
For 37 years, I've had the privilege of being part of so many lives—not just as a hairstylist, but as someone who's shared in your milestones, celebrations, and even the hard days.
Change is coming... and while it's a little bittersweet, I'm also incredibly excited.
