I am an on call stylist who specializes in hair coloring, cutting and styling. whether its editorial, fashion shows, video shoots or just a little everyday glam, Designs Of Composure is the answer.

Some things you don’t understand while you’re living them. You just keep obeying the pull even when it doesn’t make sense yet.
That’s the part I want you to really sit with. When you get those little nudges, the thing you feel called to share, the topic you keep circling back to, the thought that feels too small or too random to matter, don’t ignore it. That urge is usually connected to something bigger than you can see in the moment. I felt that pull long before I understood where it was leading me.
I look at these photos now and I see it so clearly, the version of me who was scared to lead with what she knew was already becoming the version of me who couldn’t stay quiet about it. Two years in that space taught me more about who I actually am than I expected walking in.
Grateful for every guest who sat in that chair and trusted me before I fully trusted myself. This is just the beginning. 🤍
I’ve always thought that I liked change. But what I realized on my last day in my suite is that I don’t love all change. Some change is easy. And some change forces a different version of me to show up, whether I feel ready or not.
God tends to do this to me often. Puts me in situations where I have no choice but to grow. Where moving forward isn’t optional. I was so excited about opening The Restoration Studio that I didn’t stop to think about what the name was really asking of me. Restoration isn’t just for hair. Sometimes the thing being restored is you. And for me that’s being seen.
And being seen has always been hard for me. I let people in, more than most. But there’s still so much I keep tucked away, parts I don’t let anyone look at directly.
But maybe the growth is in letting myself be seen anyway. Because when we choose to be a little more honest, a little more open, it gives the next person permission to do the same.
So here’s to being seen. 🤍
