October 17 – Mindful Minute
Today, take a minute (or more) and create. When we create something that signifies beauty to us, it feeds our soul. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece or a novel. A stack of rocks or a single flower in a vase is enough to create a moment of happiness. Art engages all our senses. Leonardi da Vinci said, “Painting is poetry that is seen rather than heard and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.” We feel alive when we create even the simplest of art forms. Take just a minute today and create something that makes you feel good.
