Today was my first hands-on day of IPL laser training, and I couldn’t stop smiling. Every certification starts with a first day, and every expert was once the person learning where to place their hands.

I’m grateful to keep growing, sharpening my craft, and investing in the kind of education that lets me serve people well. This is only the beginning. ✨

Quiet doesn’t always mean nothing is happening.

Sometimes it means you’re in the middle of becoming.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been back in the classroom, adding laser certifications to my skill set. 📚✨

Every class, every clinic hour, every note is another step toward offering more advanced, results-driven treatments for the clients who trust me with their skin.

This isn’t about chasing trends.
It’s about becoming the provider I always said I would be.

The glow-up isn’t just for my clients anymore. 😉

✨ 5th Esti-versary ✨

Five years.

Five years of learning, growing, stretching, pivoting, celebrating wins, and figuring things out one client, one treatment, and one lesson at a time.

Some days have been incredibly rewarding. Some days have tested me in ways I never expected. But through it all, there has never been a moment where this path wasn’t worth it.

I don’t take it lightly that people trust me with the first thing the world sees—their skin. Being invited into that journey is a privilege I’ll never stop being grateful for.

The esthetics community welcomed me with open arms, and the support I’ve received over these last five years has helped shape me professionally and become the person I am today.

And the best part? I know I’ve only scratched the surface.

Thank you to every mentor, colleague, client, friend, and supporter who has been part of this journey. Here’s to five years of beautiful skin, meaningful connections, and becoming better every day. 🥂💚

Juneteenth is often recognized as the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. But for me, it’s also a reminder of the resilience, creativity, and culture that survived despite every attempt to erase it.

Beauty has always been part of that story.

Long before beauty became a billion-dollar industry, Black communities used adornment, hair, skincare rituals, textiles, and self-expression to preserve identity, communicate status, celebrate heritage, and build community. What we see today in makeup artistry, skincare innovation, protective styling, and beauty entrepreneurship has roots that stretch back generations.

Looking at these photos, I see more than a younger version of myself. I see someone exploring culture, identity, artistry, and expression through the lens of beauty. I see the influence of those who came before me and made space for me to create, build a business, teach, and serve others through this industry.

Today, I celebrate freedom. I celebrate perseverance. I celebrate Black beauty- not as a trend, but as a legacy.
