I’m honestly still trying to wrap my head around this.
A few clients reached out after receiving a message that made it sound like I was stopping massage, canceling appointments, and stepping away.
That is not true.
I’m still here, Vital Kneads Massage is still open, and I’m still seeing clients as scheduled.
I’m grateful to the people who checked with me directly instead of assuming the message was real. If you received it, please send me a screenshot so I can figure out where it came from.
Thank you for looking out for me and for this little business I’ve spent years building.

Isn’t it funny how Surprise teachers are already back in the building weeks before students even show up… hauling boxes, running the laminator, and hanging bulletin boards?
Meanwhile, nobody talks about what all that “reach up, hunch down, repeat” does to your neck and shoulders. 🍎
If you’re prepping your classroom right now, that tightness creeping in isn’t nothing. Your body may already be bracing for the school year before the first bell even rings.
A customized massage can help settle that built-up tension and get you moving more comfortably before the students arrive.

Your pain deserves attention.
But it does not get to define your body, your future, or what you are capable of.
Sometimes the most helpful shift is not ignoring pain. It is changing the story around it.
Massage may help reduce tension, calm guarding, and make movement feel a little easier.
That does not mean you were broken.
It means your body may need support.

Massage should be more than a relaxing hour followed by a quick return to the same old tension.
My sessions are designed around how your body feels, moves, and functions in real life.
That may include focused therapeutic work, mobility techniques, stretching, or deeper pressure when it is actually useful. Not because every session needs to feel intense, but because your massage should have a purpose beyond simply checking “self-care” off the list.
Less generic spa routine.
More thoughtful, evidence-informed bodywork built around what you need that day.

AI can do a lot.
It can write emails, explain anatomy, and confidently suggest stretches you’ll forget to do by tomorrow.
But massage therapy still depends on human skill, attention, adaptability, and, rather inconveniently for the robots, actual hands.
So no, I’m not worried yet.
