Learning this literally changed how I approach Gray coverage forever. Understanding the science behind the pH of hair, and what happens to it when it's damp – literally increased my gray coverage immediately! There's a difference between damp and wet… So make sure the hair is not soaking wet because that will dilute your color! I personally tell dry the hair to wear it is damp and then start applying my color.
