I began my career as a diy nail tech before I went to Cosmetology school to get my license. I did not have a community like YouTube or social media for support then. I relied on good old fashion hard work to build a strong foundation under me. I have been in the industry for 23 years and diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis the entire time. It has taken it's toll on my body. I have Degenerative Disk Disease, Facet Arthritis, Bone Spurs, Stenosis, Bulging Disks, Impinged Shoulder, Fused Collar Bone and a few more blah blah blah. The point is I want to teach you what you need to know before my body tells me I am out of time. I am a fighter because I have not let anything take my career or salon through all my surgeries. I will not give up even after the doctors told me I had to find another career. I do want to teach you how to take better care of your body than I did though! I live my life ignoring what my body is doing, my brain is thinking about nothing but nails! And my body better catch up! I serve my community, I love to help people look and feel their best. I feel proud, happy, productive and accomplished every day but my family and my faith are what complete me.
