What do you propagate your plants in?
I have a bunch of bottles that I’ve kept out of the recycling or have found at thrift stores that I brought home to put my plants in. This is one of my favorite way for propagation ☺️

Exfoliation is necessary to open the clogged pores of your skin and a scrub goes a long way in meeting the health of your skin.
But with exposure to plastic and synthetic body sponges it is not going to happen as they leach chemicals.
A Loofah is derived from Luffa vegetable, in hindi it is called Turai. This vegetable once it has dried the husk is removed to get hollow sponge with pores which makes the loofah soft once it comes in contact with water.
How cool is that?
One which is natural, made from dried vegetable which otherwise would go to waste, one which meets the needs of your skin and one which biodegrades at the end of life.

Growing up we never saw plastic scrubs or brushes. It was coconut husk from our pooja room, raakh from our chulha and seekh ka jhadoo. It was such an effortless step towards being eco friendly and living sustainable lives. In the last couple of months I have stopped using Scotchbrite or steel wool for cleaning. My housekeeping staff gets me coconut husk from a close-by Shaniwara temple whenever I run out of it. The extra husk is put in my pots to retain moisture in the summers. I was so happy when I got these multi utility brushes from . So beautifully made and sustainable. Added bonus, they make my utility area look so pretty! Also...Being green is more than just buying ‘eco’. It is an unshakable commitment to a sustainable lifestyle.

Bath time, but make it green. And if you spend all your time keeping these plants alive, expand your love and do something for the planet these little guys came from. Cut out one plastic packaged product from your daily routine. It’s so easy! A fun place to start is your self care products, because you can customize them here. Then, you refill them, over & over & over & over. Count how many times we said ‘over’. Maybe that’s how many plastic bottles you save this year. That’s pretty cool. Thank you 😘 📷:

The people have spoken and the message is clear: 'No' to oil and gas drilling in the Okavango River Basin, 'yes' to sustainable, green energy. Join me in supporting local conservationists, civil society organizations, Indigenous and community leaders in calling for an immediate moratorium on oil and gas drilling in the Okavango River Basin. This includes current actions by Canada-based company ReconAfrica. You can help today. Sign 's open letter in the link in bio.

“Last, Best Hope”
You’re not going to like hearing this but…you’re in denial.
Your house, our house, is on fire. Literally.
The planet is burning up, and we’re not doing nearly enough.
Not talking about it enough, not changing our habits nearly enough, not pushing our governments to address this enough.
Right now, the heads of most governments are meeting in the UK for COP26 - the annual UN climate change conference.
With time running out for us to fix the climate crisis, this meeting is being called “the last, best hope” we have to save humanity as we know it.
𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁. 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁. 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲.
Thought you should know. Thought you would care.
Think it’s time for all of us to stop being in denial.

Plastic has permeated our lives, and menstruation is no exception.
On average, people menstruate for approximately 40 years in total and bleed for about 5 days a month. That’s 2400 days where period products (e.g. pads) are used.
There are many ways that conventional, single-use period products contribute towards the suffering of our planet – but it’s not just that… it includes the suffering of our bodies and budgets as well!
What do your menstrual hygiene products consist of?💚

That one plastic straw you tossed into the bin years ago, might still be sitting somewhere on earth! Worse, it might have found its way into the ocean and lodged itself in a poor turtle's nose! No kidding!
Plastic straws are a real menace and a huge threat to marine life. But, YOU can make a difference!
Switch to steel straws today and take a stand against plastic waste. Steel straws are readily available on various online shopping stores. They're affordable, reusable, long-lasting and a sustainable choice to make. So, say cheers to steel straws.
And if you don’t find steel straws, no hassle! Simply drink your drinks straight up. You need no straws.🥤
