Still dabbling in mixed media. Just finished my collage, mixed media version of VanGogh’s Vase of Cornflowers and Poppies. I’ve always been inspired by this painting. 11x14 canvas board, acrylic underpainting and lots of painted papers. I had the pleasure of visiting at least 5 museums in Amsterdam and Paris last spring but this is one painting I didn’t see. Turns out it’s in Virginia. Maybe a road trip.
