We are so excited that Destiny is going to college this fall and will continue using her gifts to serve the Lord and bring God glory. But with the excitement came questions of how it was all going to be possible. We continued to trust the Lord and follow his instructions. And then the scholarships and awards started coming in. And do you know that SO FAR God has covered everything except $2500 per semester per year. All four years He has already made provision for. I believe that He has made a way to cover it all knowing that this single mother of three who is widowed and on disability needs all His help getting my daughter off to college. I had to humble myself to follow his instructions to share Destiny's registry for college publicly. God has been showing me that He will use people that I may not know to be a blessing or a source of encouragement. Last week was my birthday, and instead of being focused on people that I know that my not have showed up He used a perfect stranger to take the time and record a special personalized video just to wish me a happy birthday and encourage me and sing happy birthday to me. It was so very special to me because one sentence of words she said were identical to the same words that my husband would say as God used him to bless others. This made me feel like God winked at me letting me know that He is always there and I am never alone no matter what it may feel like.

God IS………

(You finish the rest of the sentence and say why God IS that to you. For example, God is my HELER because I am confident that HE touched me. And ever since that moment I’ve been pain free physically and emotionally, my blood pressure is normal, I’ve been able to move around and do things again. I have been able to go shopping in public without having any anxiety or without having to use my mobility scooter because I couldn’t not walk. But above all not to long ago they thought I was having a stroke and it didn’t look too good, a medical emergency, I couldn’t move or do anything, but there was a moment in the ambulance when I remember calling on the name of Jesus in my SPIRIT and the Lord came to me in that moment in that ambulance and He asked me did I want to live or was I ready to die and I said I wanted to LIVE and He said “You shall live AGAIN abundantly” and then He departed. From that moment there has been such an awareness of the Grace and the Glory that is resting upon my life. A gratitude for the little things, recognizing that God causes my heart to beat involuntarily daily and He keeps my lungs from collapsing. He holds the stars and moon in the sky every night while I sleep and not One of them fall to the ground. He allows the sun to rise and set on me. Because of Him I know my name, I am in my right mind when I could have lost my mind a long time ago. And yet with all of His power he is the same God that holds me in His arms, he wipes my tears away, and He turned my sorrow into joy, my tears into praise and my pain into His Glory. And He calls me His friend)
