Kelli's Candles

Kelli's Candles was birthed out of the idea that I wanted to bring in candles to my mom's store that had biblical scents and could help people at the same time. My first candles were quite potent, but they put me on the path to learning about Essential Oils and have culminated into what you see on this page. I wanted my candles to be as natural as possible, so they are all made with a natural soy wax and pre-tabbed cotton wicks dipped in beeswax. I blend the Essential Oils ahead of time so they are able to fuse together before being added to the candles, and are mixed in while the wax is still hot so that the Oils will continue to throw a scent as the candle burns down. Finding the right wick took some time, and the wicks I use will burn to the edge of the candle and are a clean burn. It does take some time for this to occur and since soy wax seems to learn from its first burn, you want to make sure you burn to the edge the first time you burn your candle! Usually for me, this occurs between the 3-4 hour mark. Subsequent burns I have noticed will reach the edge within a few hours if you burn it right the first time. Also, make sure you trim your wick to a 1/4" each time you light your candle so that it burns properly. I've included a prayer on each card of the candles, because like I said, my desire is to help. Please know that I pray over each one and have sincerely prayed the prayers in the cards over the lives of those who come in contact with my candles. I believe in the power of prayer and expect God to work in your behalf! I never thought myself to be creative, but I have to admit that I am enjoying creating new blends, and am sure I will add to this line in the future. At the current time I know I want to create a yellow Joy candle and a green Healing candle, so I will just have to see where the Lord takes me.
