We’ll be CLOSED Saturday, October 10 as downtown Sykesville comes alive for the Fall Festival!

To help accommodate our guests, we’ll be OPEN Monday, October 5 from 12–8 PM, an additional day outside of our normal schedule!

Always learning, always evolving!

On August 17, our team had the opportunity to learn from the talented Lisa Warren during an inspiring cutting class! We dove into new layering and detailing techniques designed to elevate our cutting skills and bring even more creativity and precision to the chair.

We’re proud to invest in continued education so our stylists can keep growing, learning, and bringing fresh techniques back to our guests.

Today, we take a moment to remember someone who meant so much to all of us at Hair by Samsara.

On July 25, we said goodbye to our longtime client and dear friend, Mr. Jim Phelan.

For many years, Mr. Jim was a familiar face in our salon. His appointments were about so much more than a haircut, they were filled with laughter, stories, warm hugs, and the kind of genuine kindness that could brighten anyone's day. He had a way of making every member of our team smile, and his presence will be deeply missed.

We have also had the privilege of caring for his wonderful daughter, Marianne, as well as her husband, Rick and their two children. It has been an honor to serve your family through the years, and our hearts are with all of you during this difficult time.

Mr. Jim leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and compassion that we will never forget. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your life and your routine for so many years. We will cherish the memories, the conversations, and the countless smiles you shared with us.

Rest peacefully, Mr. Jim. You will always hold a special place in the Hair by Samsara family. ❤️
