A little re-introduction for all the new faces I’ve been so lucky to welcome lately 🤍

Hi, I’m Kay! A new mom, business owner, and clean beauty enthusiast. when I’m not behind the chair, you can find me spending time with my family, practicing self care and bingeing SLOMW 😅

I recently opened with the intention of creating a space where you don’t just leave feeling confident and beautiful, but also feel safe with what is going on your hair and skin.

Becoming a mom completely shifted my perspective on everything. Like most moms, I only wanted the safest, best for us options. So I slowly started making changes in my home, from cleaning supplies to beauty products. But the one piece that felt unavoidable was my career.

Working around chemicals for hours a day was something I never truly questioned — until I did. And once I looked into the impact it can have on our bodies, especially our hormones, I knew I couldn’t ignore it anymore. Endocrine disruption, PCOS, fertility struggles… so many women are facing these issues, and it felt personal. Especially after having a miscarriage and then struggling to get pregnant with my daughter after that. I realized clean beauty shouldn’t be a trend — it should be a standard.

So I made the switch. And I built a space where everything you encounter is intentionally chosen — from the products we use, to the cleaning supplies, to the hand soap in the bathroom and the coffee that you drink.

To my clients and supporters who have been here from the beginning… thank you for trusting me, growing with me, and standing by me through every season. And to those who are new here — welcome. 🤍

Nine years ago, I walked out of beauty school with big dreams and no idea where life would take me.

On Sunday, I celebrated the grand opening of my very own salon— and that still doesn’t feel real. 🤍

came from the idea that life isn’t always a straight path. It’s messy, unpredictable, and sometimes feels like it’s falling apart just to fall into place. Every detour, every struggle, every “why me” moment somehow leads you exactly where you’re supposed to end up.

Opening my salon just one year postpartum (and in the very building I started my career in) feels like the biggest full-circle moment of my life. There were so many times I didn’t think I’d make it here. I’ve had my share of hard seasons, between growing up, figuring out who I was in my twenties and becoming a mom — but standing here now, I can honestly say I’m living a life I used to only pray for.

Linear Collective was built on everything I’ve learned along the way — the good, the bad, and the in-between. I wanted to create a space that feels different. A space where artists feel supported, clients feel cared for, and where “clean beauty” means more than just products. It means energy, culture, and environment.

To my friends, family, and clients — thank you. For trusting me, for cheering me on, for being part of this story. None of this would exist without you. 🤍

It takes consistency, care, and commitment to keep blondes looking this fresh. My girl drives two hours to stay on top of her routine—she never misses a beat and it shows.

Using quality haircare products and regimens is so so important to maintain the health and brightness of your blonde in between appointments. For Taylor, that includes a filtered shower head to block out color harming minerals, a brightening and balancing shampoo, intensive conditioning treatments, and the occasional at home toning mask. Having this kind of blonde doesn’t come without a lot of work, for both of us! She typically spends 4 to 5 hours in my chair to obtain this perfect blend, but she also has a lot of at home care that she follows through with to maintain. It’s a commitment, but it’s well worth it! 🤍
