Being a mom is a full-time job, but being a special needs mom and 8 months pregnant with a business is a whole new level of supermom. Late nights, early mornings, and everything in between, we do whatever it takes to make it all work. It’s 2am and I’m putting the finishing touches on my products for my next Popup shop, because that’s when I have the time. But let me tell you, seeing my little one smile and knowing I am setting an example for her, makes it all worth it. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do it all, because you absolutely can. Keep pushing, mamas! 🤎

Hi! I have some new followers so I’ll like to take this time to reintroduce myself. Some may know but most don’t, but my name Is Fantasia. I have changed my logo, became a single business owner a year ago, and currently in my 8th month of pregnancy. I am 4 classes away from my associates degree in human services and will pursue my bachelor’s in social work this upcoming January. I love helping others, art, diy crafts, nature, and being a mom. The best thing to know about me is I am a mother of miracle baby who was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Her name is Patience “Serenity.”

Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) is a rare congenital heart disease that causes the left ventricle of the heart to be underdeveloped and too small. This causes the left side of the heart to be incapable to support the body’s circulation. HLHS affects 2–3% of all congenital heart disease and is estimated to occur in about 1 out of every 3,841 babies born in the United States each year

Survival rates are increasing due to improved surgery techniques and post-surgery care. For example, an estimated 70% of infants who have a Norwood procedure of infants who have the stage I repair, called a Norwood procedure, live to see early childhood. For children who survive to the age of 12 months, long-term survival is about 90%. Before the 1980s, HLHS was associated with a 95% mortality rate within the first month of life. The mean age at which infants died was 4.5 days.

Patience HLHS was caused by a rare genetic disorder Jacobsen Syndrome. About 1 in 100,000 newborns are born with JS. JS is connected to her immunodeficiency, blood disease, and autism.
