Why are blonding services costing more?

The simple answer is PRODUCT! The beauty industry has not been immune to inflation. Foils, color, and general overhead have increased drastically in price over the last few years. When service prices increase it doesn’t always mean a raise for your stylist! But…at the end of the day id pay any price to make sure my clients get the best results possible ✨

- I thrive when I’m busy
When I have a lot on my plate, I’m on a roll. Everything is getting done. I have a much harder time taking care of business without that pressure.

- I set really high expectations for myself
I’ve always thought of myself as the “go with the flow” type, but I’m learning that I actually have very specific goals. Also, it bothers me when I don’t hit those goals (even if they’re a little unrealistic 🙃)

- what my clients think about me matters…a lot
I always knew I cared about what my clients thought of me, but I never realized how intense that effect was until I went out on my own. I’m slowly learning to balance these emotions so I can continue to grow while also remembering I’m only human!

- if I wasn’t a hair stylist I’d be an accountant
If I didn’t love analytics and book keeping before, I do now. There’s just something so satisfying about numbers. Anyone else? 😅

- I like to be challenged
Changing my business structure has been more transformational than I could have imagined. I feel pushed towards growth every single day. I’m loving the constant flow of my career for the first time in a while, and my clients can tell!
