Our salon will be closed this week, if I haven’t already personally reached out you’ll be hearing from me as we learn more in the coming week.

My biggest hope is that you find peace + calm amongst a time of chaos. I’m going to be ok, please do what you need to do for yourself to feel ok.

putting the babe in babylight 🦋

the final result from my stories yesterday! has had so many hair colors, but this by far is the blondest we’ve gone and we’re both obsessed 🤩

here’s a breakdown of the process in case you missed it⤵️

this is our third round of custom blonding, so all she needed to blend in the roots was a partial Babylight

within the babylight , I did a face frame to make sure we got those pops around the hairline

all the hair left out of the foils got tipped out & placed in foils

after rinsing we did a root smudge & gloss at the bowl

gloss: 10bs 10v 4 drops cool violet 2 drops yellow (pure pigment)

Love when we get to our goal color and are just doing maintenance appts! This was just a root touch up & clear gloss! Love the way her balayage is growing & glowing ✨

I’ve been loving the bolder face frame look! I even went for it myself in my last color sesh. I still recommend to my clients who are a little apprehensive that we smudge the root when we tone just a smidge to soften!

I love the results of blonde that seems like it glows all around your face while keeping that dimension through the root & mids ✨

Had a little breakdown this week. My anxiety went from just bearable to overwhelming, over the smallest of things. But in truth it’s all the thousands of little things, isn’t it, that build and build until one day a feather can crack us.

But breakdowns lead to breakthroughs, and coming out the other side I feel like I can realign myself again. The best place to start is to tune into what feels good and what doesn’t feel good, and build from there. 🤍
