| U P D A T E #3 |

Surgery is complete.. staples came out yesterday.. & my dream of being a leg model are crushed 🤣

I am honestly playing it day by day. If my foot is down too long everything swells up and my toes turn purple so that’s not ideal but I am trying so hard to make it work. I miss all of you and I’m hoping being in a boot now and not a cast, things will be better! The doctor says everything looks good and I’m healing great by keeping it elevated and iced. I will be able to walk in my boot in 4 weeks if I don’t push it but right now I’m only able to get around with crutches. So I will be trying to do half days when I have a ride to the salon (perks of breaking your driving foot 🤦‍♀️) and will be working on getting everyone back in. It’s like Covid all over again and I appreciate/apologize for this huge inconvenience 🫠

Thank you to everyone that has reached out, I honestly have shed so many tears being stuck on a couch 24/7 and not being able to see everyone and do what I love. Thank you for being understanding and thank you for letting me heal properly so I can get outta this mess healthy and good to go for the future. 🖤 love you guys and have learned my lesson of the laundry can always wait & we should have bought a ranch style house 😉🤣

| U P D A T E #2 |

Met with surgeon/doctor, 💯 I will be having surgery Thursday. There’s a lot that needs to be fixed especially so I don’t have problems later down the road.

I’ll have a 3 in incision on the inside of my ankle and a 6-10 in incision on the outside of my leg. Pins, plates, & like a fishing line kinda thing to bring the bones on my shin together again. I tore a main ligament really bad going up my shin that keeps everything together.

Good news: recovery shouldn’t be terrible. 2 week cast. 6-8 week boot. & do physical therapy etc.

I am going to see how this weekend goes and see if I can go to work for a bit Monday.. it’s all up in the air. I have no idea how I’ll feel but I’m staying positive 🖤 I’ll let everyone know as soon as I have a better idea. Thank you everyone so much for the kind words and being understanding. I appreciate you guys so much. 😘

| L I F E U P D A T E |

Not the post I wanted to make. After work on Monday, I had a pretty bad fall down our stairs with a laundry basket. Ended up with a spiral fracture in my tibia, cracked fibula, chipped the bone off the side of my fibula at the ankle, and a complete dislocation. My appointment's on Monday to see if I'll need surgery.

If you know me, then you already know I’m in complete panic mode to when I can get back to work & know as soon as I’m cleared not to have it elevated 24/7, I’ll be back to in the salon.

I have not had a chance to get ahold of all my appointment for next week & am on a lot of pain meds, so please know I’ll reach out as soon as I can. I’ll have more answers after Monday, so after I have a game plan we can plan accordingly. 🖤 Appreciate you guys & thank you for understanding.
