New client came to me wanting healthier more cohesive dimensional hair. Did a full lowlight, toner, trim.

Might not look like much but swipe for the before 😱 This client was hoping for a blonde balayage while keeping her length but she had to be willing to pivot to achieve the best outcome. The red was not going to come al the way out and the dark ends were not only dry and saturated with the most artificial pigment, they were very fragile. With options limited, we decided doing a few foils and painting between to cancel the red with a reasonable trim was a great outcome. We were both happy with the results.

Color correction continued. She wanted some dimension but her hair cannot handle more bleach. We opted for some blonde extensions to add some pops of dimension! Extensions are a great way to add dimension, or pops of fun colors without damage.
