Manual lymphatic drainage at home! *CAPTIONS AVAILABLE ON TIKTOK*
I got my wisdom teeth removed this week (6 years overdue!) A lot of you probably have already been through this and know that there's not much to do but moan and groan and get through it. 🦷 Beyond that, to take care of my weak and tender bod this week I:
• 🧊 was heavy with my ice packs for the first 48 hours or recovery, roughly 20 minutes at a time
• 💆🏾♀️ watched a ton of ASMR massage vidros on youtube while i drifted in and out of consciousness
• ⬆️🫀 tried to lay with my head above my heart after the sickness and nausea had passed
• 💕 fully leaned on the support and care of my partner. I asked for what I needed and accepted that I needed help and care and let myself receive it gratefully
• 🌊 cleared all my catchments a few times a day, shone here! I love manual lymphatic drainage as a simple and loving tool for self care at home, especially during this particularly sore and swollen period, but also whenever I want to amplify some active relaxation or feel puffy or congested.
