I can’t move on from this year without acknowledging all of you who have supported me this year. I couldn’t have gotten through it without you all.

Thank you to my husband, my family, my clients & this community. You’re belief in me & constant support has helped me more than you can ever know 🥺🙏🏻💞

Although this 1st year of business felt like running in quicksand & is not at all what I wanted it to be, this year probably gave me precisely what I needed.

It has taught me to sit with the discomfort of unknowing & has opened my mind to even more possibilities that I don't think I would have realized had this pandemic not hit us. It also strengthened my trust in knowing that things will align in the best way possible if you continue to follow your heart & not let fear get the best of you. And, even in the scariest of moments, there's always something to be grateful for.

I know we aren’t through this pandemic yet, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It makes it all a little less scary, knowing we have each other.

I hope someday I can repay all of you for the support & love you’ve given me.

When I started this journey, what drove me was the possibility & realization that I have the privilege to have an opportunity to try, fail & try again. I realized I couldn't let fear hold me back from the dreams I have of creating something unique. What I want to say to you is THANK YOU. Thank you for standing with me, thank you for believing in me & having patience as I try, fail, & try again. Thank you for showing me empathy & compassion as I navigate this crazy year. I wouldn’t be here with your trust, your belief, & your patience. My goal has always been to create an equal opportunity work environment, an environment where we share our passion, grow our craft & develop endless possibilities to have fun ea day, so work doesn't have to be work, a place where we find connection & growth as professionals & as human beings, a place to share & feel welcome. I know this year hasn’t been easy, but we will get through this & we will finish creating this space. I promise you that. We understand that some of you may have questions about how the new Stay Safe orders from Gov. Inslee and how they may impact your pre-booked services and operations at the salon.

We wanted to assure you all that, at this time, these new requirements will not dramatically impact our current operations at the salon. We are lucky to have a large space that allows us to adapted and accommodate the new guidelines. Because of this, most previously booked appointments shouldn’t be impacted.

Please give your stylist time to contact you if there are changes to your appointment. We promise you are on our minds, and we will keep you updated! If your stylist hasn’t contacted you, your appointment will remain as previously booked!

If you have visited us recently, you know that we require masks to be worn at all times during your appointment and hand sanitizer or hand washing to be done immediately upon entry. No exceptions. In addition to this, we will also be adding temperature checks at the door to increase our safety practices. The safety of our collective, clients, and community is of the utmost importance to us, and we will be continuing to enforce strict safety measures at Attune.

I do not support your hate, I do not support your racism, I do not support your homophobia. I support love & equality for all. I support justice for black lives. I respect your right to have your own opinion but when you sit in my chair I ask that you respect mine. Do not bring your judgments, hate, fear & scarcity mindset to my chair. I will not entertain it & I WILL NOT stand for it.
