We started with naturally dark brown hair and brought her into this soft, dimensional honey brown without bleach. Just enough warmth to catch the light while still feeling rich, healthy, and completely her.

And those curls? They understood the assignment. ✨

Proof that going lighter doesn’t always have to mean reaching for lightener.

A creative cut that is giving straight-up anime character energy. ⚡️

And listen… creative color AND anime-inspired cuts are definitely outside of my normal little comfort zone 😂 BUT every once in a while, somebody sits in my chair who’s willing to take a bet on me, gives me creative freedom, and basically says “do your thing.”

So I did. 🤪

Instead of toning everything into one perfectly polished shade, we left the lift RAW and I’m obsessed with how much more dimension it gave us. Different levels of gold, blonde + warmth peeking through that dark base made the raccoon tails hit completely different.

Is this my everyday work? Nope. 😂
Did I have entirely too much fun doing it? Absolutely.

Sometimes being a hairstylist means staying in your lane…
and sometimes it means swerving out of it for a minute just to see what happens. 🏎️💨

We refreshed her color with this rich, dimensional red AND gave her curls the love they needed—and the final result?! 🍒🌀

BACK TO SCHOOL HAIR but make it BLUE 💙📚

She came in blonde with a natural level 9 and had one request: dark & BLUE. So apparently today I’m a colorist. 🤪

We lifted with Matrix Blonde Max 9+, brought her base down with Matrix Super Sync 6A + 5N with 10 vol, then finished her off with Pravana Topaz Blue + Blue for this insanely vibrant dimensional blue. 💙

And she LOVED it.

I will forever say I’m a haircutting girlie before I’m a colorist 😂 but every once in a while I love getting handed a challenge that makes me step outside my usual box.

And THIS ONE?!
Back-to-school hair officially understood the assignment. ✏️💙
