I love it when I get to treat a fellow hairstylist to a beautiful new head of hair. A little story about this stylist, she actually came to my class last year in New York and I met her and instantly knew she was wonderful. She’s actually named Jackie as well, and we laughed at our shared name and the fact that she could be my daughter. So how much fun was it when I showed up to teach this class and found out she was going to be my model!! Needless to say she deserved to be treated to a beautiful hair color, swipe to see a few pics and at the end, see what her hair looked like before.

ProLab is one of my fav places to be! Thank you for allowing me to open up the 2024 year for the Academy. Such a successful and fun weekend 🖤

Every year on this date, I am reminded of my special sweet angel baby niece, Ava. Happy 12th Birthday Ava. Say a prayers for each and every mother that has had to say goodbye to a baby too early and hold you own close. I am so blessed to have been able to meet Ava, if even for a moment, and I know one day, I will meet her again.

New things are happening in 2023!
2022 showed me many things, some I never wanted to see and hope to never see again. But it also showed me that I have an amazing husband and family, that my group of women who lift me up are strong and loyal, and that I have worked very hard to create something that will outlast me. As I head into 2023, I have chosen to take a step back as the owner of . 12.5 years of ownership cannot be summed up in one post, but know that I am so proud of this business I have built and I know it will continue to thrive under the new owner. Lindsay, , is one of my favorite women and she is going to do amazing things as the new boss babe of Chroma. I love this industry and the bonds in creates and will continue to work as a stylist at Chroma, along with education for . Change is hard, and good, and scary. But cheers 🥂 to a new year, new focus and a new decade of age (🫣40’s)
