Thanks to two beautiful friends I was able to get through all of the labeling and packaging! Thanks again Crystal and for all of your hard work!

I am beyond excited and can’t believe this is happening 🥲

With everything going on in the world right now, self-care is essential. We deserve to slow down and take care of ourselves without feeling guilty or selfish for it.

After what felt like months of depression, I craved finding my passion again. I’ve always been a creative soul, but I lacked the energy most activities required. I needed something that would fill my cup, not deplete it.

Then one day, while scrolling through Instagram, I came across my first cold process soap video. I remember thinking, “Hey—I could do that. From my own kitchen.” It felt simple, creative, and just challenging enough to spark something in me again.

So I started researching. I joined Facebook groups, watched countless hours of YouTube videos, and learned everything I could about oils, ingredients, and the science behind soapmaking. Eventually, I built up the courage to invest in the materials and create my first batch.

At first, I was intimidated—working with lye can sound scary. But I learned that with proper knowledge and safety, it’s completely manageable. (And after the saponification process is complete, there is no lye left in the final bar.)

When that first batch finally cured and I cut into it, I was hooked.

There it was—my passion, my creativity, and my intention, all in one bar of soap. The feeling was indescribable. And in that moment, I knew I had found my passion again.

It’s time to feel excited about showering again. I never realized how much such a small change could impact the way I felt—until I started creating soap that actually nourished my skin instead of drying it out. As a busy mom searching for simple moments of care in my everyday routine, I wanted something that felt comforting, intentional, and grounding.

That’s what inspired Bare Necessities.

Just shopping for a potential location ;) Big things are coming! I want to offer soap classes. The first one would be discounted and I’d have a photographer there along with beverages provided by Sober AF for a sober soap and sip :)
In the meantime Crafty AF has generously offered to host my classes there! So much to work on :) wish me luck on this new adventure!
