This week on Tuesday, April 9th from 12-2pm, we celebrated the grand opening of Planet Fitness Takoma Park. The event included a ribbon cutting with the Prince George County Chamber of Commerce, a $1,000 check presentation to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, free giveaways & prizes, free workouts, and we also had special appearances by the Maryland student-athletes Tyler Baruch & Allie Kubek, Washington Wizards legend Gheorge Muresan, Washington Capitals legend Alan May and Capitals Mascot, Slapshot. The community was ecstatic to celebrate with us, and we all had a blast!
