TUCKED away on a quiet street, the 30 year old neighborhood bakery once frozen in time seems to have gotten a modern facelift; brick façade with black trimmed windows surrounded by green shrubbery and bistro seating. The shop's star is a deceptively simplistic treat. Buttery, decadent, and just enough muscovado sugar to satisfy any sweet tooth. The first bite satisfies daily cravings by the dozens, and turns a purchase of 1 into a box of 12 please!

Bundt First, Cupcake is buttercream & vanilla frosting blended beautifully with sweet cream and decadent cake. Topped off with muscovado sugar & meringue for that extra bit of sweetness!

Buttermilk Body perfume needs to "bake" in the same way a baby does. There's fragrance formulation and mixing fragrance with alcohol, but the blend needs time to bind. So I mix, bottle it up in gallon sized jugs, and let it sit for 4 to 6 weeks.

That time allows the smell of alcohol to disappear. The whole point is to smell like cake and vanilla right? So, while the perfumes are on the shelf doing what they do, I'm working on other things like finding the right vessel. Bottles are plentiful, and with so many choices you can spend a whole day trying to find the right one.

Buttermilk perfumes will come in 1 oz glass bottles, I just need to decide if the bottles are going to be a little bougie, a whole lotta bougie, or simple and chic. Cost efficiency is key, and what's in the bottle is the star. So I need to keep that in mind before I start to go crazy with the packaging.
