This little plant is a reminder that life keeps growing and changing, even when our hearts wish time would stand still.
Loosing Brian, my husband, has changed me and forced me to grow in ways that I never could have imagined.
Thank you to everyone who has shown me kindness, grace, and support during this time.
I’m not moving on, but I am moving forward. And part of that means returning to something that has always brought me joy—creating and sharing beautiful hair.
So you’ll start seeing more beautiful hair transformations here again. Thank you for staying with me as I learn what this new chapter looks like.

We packed a lot of fun into 10 years. My husband Brian was the kindest, funniest, most loyal person you could ever meet. We said goodbye to him this morning and my heart is broken. Please keep our family in your thoughts and his memory ongoing.

What is a curly cut you ask? Let me break it down for you. When you come to HairCraft I begin the cut on your dry, pre styled hair. Why you ask? You have to think of curly hair a a 3-D object. I cut your curls where they live on your head when they are dry. I do not care how long your hair is when it’s wet, for your curly cut it only matters where your curls live when they are dry.

I don’t usually cut kids hair…but when I do they steal my heart and leave me recovering from cuteness overload. Her mama needed help taking care of all these curl patterns. She was able to leave the salon with the proper tools and technique to make wash days easier. Now back to my regularly scheduled adult curly cuts!

Getting a haircut for a curly girl can be terrifying. But it doesn’t have to be! I will build a plan with you to get to your goal even if we have to cut the tiniest bit at a time. There was hardly any hair on the floor after I cut curls, but what a difference it made. Check out these before and after.
