So here’s the thing: I’m being asked more and more to remove sew-ins. I get it. You don’t trust (or can’t reach) the stylist who installed it. BUT if you don’t allow them to remove their own work, please do us all (you, me, them) a favor and let them know glue does not belong in a sew-in. Maybe you knew they used it and thought nothing of it because it was “just a little bit”. Maybe you didn’t know at all! But if the client BEFORE you had taken a stand, maybe it wouldn’t be in YOUR hair. As a courtesy, notify the stylist! So they can get proper training. Be who you needed!

I have not worked “hard” since. Even with my energy spread across multiple ventures, I don’t work nearly as hard or as much as I did when my salon schedule was open 7 days a week for 12 hours a day. The gag? I make more money now than I did when I THOUGHT I was killing it (unless Uncle Sam is reading this).
