One of the hardest parts of closing this chapter at Cabello’s was knowing I wouldn’t get to see this girl almost every day… so naturally, we decided we’re just not separating 🖤

After 12 years together, it only feels right that Kelsey is coming with me into this next season. Through every busy day, stressful moment, exciting idea, life change, and everything in between… she has been one of the most loyal, steady, beautiful souls in my life.

If you know Kelsey, you know exactly what I mean when I say she’s simply the easiest person to be around. Calm, kind, genuine, talented, drama-free, and the type of person that makes every room feel lighter.

Starting this new journey together just feels right, in every way, and I honestly can’t imagine doing it without her by my side.

It’s almost time to send Haley off on her new journey 🤍

I’m so grateful for Haley. She is an extremely talented stylist, but an even better human. She is thoughtful, loyal and always willing to go the extra mile.

Haley decided to stay with Cabello’s until the last possible second and that’s just Haley in a nutshell.

She will start at Wanderlust Salon and Spa June 3rd, where I know she will be welcomed right away. They are lucky to have her. ❤️

We know a lot of you fell in love with Brooke and her talent in the year she was with us and you’re thinking “who will do my hair now??”. This week we send McKenna off, to begin her new adventure. 🤍

McKenna’s last day at Cabello’s will be this Saturday May 16th. On May 26th she will begin taking clients at Serenity N Bliss Salon and Headspa inside of Beauty Bungalows at 1812 Thomasville Rd.

Her new schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10am - 5pm & Saturday 10am - 4pm.

This Mother’s Day feels like an appropriate day to share some big news ❤️

After over thirteen years of pouring my heart into Cabello’s, it’s time for me to share something bittersweet…on May 28th, we will be closing our doors for good.

Cabello’s has been so much more than a salon to me. It has been a literal dream come true. It has been a place that shaped me, stretched me, and truly molded me into the person I am today. Every client who has sat in our chairs, every stylist who has been part of my team, every bit of love and support along the way — it has meant everything to me. I will never be able to fully put into words how grateful I am for all of you.

In this next season of life, I’m choosing to put my family first. I’m choosing slow, uninterrupted mornings with my baby while he’s still little, I’m choosing a night time routine he can count on and as many lullabies as he needs to fall asleep. I’m choosing Jason and Sawyer. Because of that, it feels right to close this chapter of Cabello’s.

For my loyal clients reading this (and panicking) — don’t worry, I’m still going to be doing hair, microblading and weddings. Just in a different, smaller scale location.

We will continue welcoming both new and existing clients at Cabello’s through May 28th, and we would truly love to see you in these final weeks. We’ll also be running a huge sale on all retail, so come stock up on your favorites and help us close this chapter with full hearts.

As for my incredible team — each stylist will be stepping into a new chapter in their own career, and I couldn’t be more proud or supportive of where they’re headed. We’ll be sharing a separate post soon with details on where you can find each of us.
