36 days post-rabies exposure, and the nightmare isn't over. I am still getting more shots and titers. The ER facility completely ignored national guidelines and protocols, forcing me to navigate this incredibly scary situation. I will be advocating fiercely to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else—Alabama healthcare systems must do better.Look at my leg today. A scar is finally forming, but only because I had to clean, dress, and treat the wound myself. The hospital never washed it, never injected human rabies immune globulin (HRIG) into the site, and didn't even examine the bite. This is unacceptable. 😡

To talk about auto immune diseases, herbalism ,alternative wellness , holistic healing, meaningful conversations, laugh out loud real experiences and life stories , to have guest speakers and build a little community where we all can journey life imperfectly together!

14 days post-Rabid Fox Attack - The reality of facing a rabies situation is absolutely terrifying. It’s heavy, it’s traumatic, and there are days where the trauma feels heavy especially the way this was handled at ER - 😱
But the human mind is a wild thing. Amidst the fear and the countless appointments, my brain has decided to cope with absolute absurdity and comedy. 🧠✨If you know me, you know I’m choosing to laugh, because the alternative is letting the fear win. But So, here’s to the trauma-bonding humor and fighting this with everything I’ve got.Thank you for the continued love, messages, and support.
