Continuing our celebration of Haitian heritage and culture, we’re popping up this weekend at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum! Expect a vibrant fusion of art, music, poetry, food, and culture....plus an amazing lineup of Haitian-owned businesses (including us!). There’ll even be live art painting.

We’re bringing our infamous luxury hand washing experience, so come try all of our products and treat yourself to a little luxury, no spa needed. Get some cultural fun and a glow-up!

Haitian Flag Day is celebrated every year on May 18th and commemorates the creation of the Haitian flag in 1803. Catherine Flon is credited with sewing the first flag by removing the white from the French tricolor. This symbolizes the unity of Haiti’s Black and mixed-race citizens. That act of defiance became a powerful emblem of independence and freedom. "L'Union Fait La Force" is written under the coat of arms and it means with "Unity Makes Strength". HAPPY HAITIAN FLAG DAY TO ALL MY ZOES!!!!
