I’m not really good with speeches so bare with me 😅
In June 2017 I decided to make a huge change. I decided to take a leap of faith and leave a job where I was making 40K to be an hourly employee at a spa. There was a promise of management as time went on.
Once I started working there and realized what an esthetician was, I knew I finally found my calling. I don’t know anybody else who would beg to pop their siblings blackheads more than me. My husband also was a victim.
By October I was enrolled in school and graduated February 2018. I started working as aesthetician in the spa, but as fate would have it that wouldn’t last long. (Long story 😑) That year I was blessed with the lump of money that I wasn’t expecting 🙏🏾 and was able to purchase all of the things I needed to start my mobile business.
During this time, I also attempted to get a job at a lash studio however, again fate decided that that was not my path.
After starting strong in my business, I became pregnant with my daughter. Being mobile, I had to put a pause on everything as how can I bring my table up and down apartments? Setting up and breaking down was to much after a while.
2019 I welcomed my gorgeous daughter and a few months after that, started promoting and trying to get back into the thick of things while also getting another promotion in the spa world. Things were definitely slow as I had a lot on my plate.
Then Covid hit. Now we all know what happened so I don’t have to get into that. During that time I did get a promotion again however, that would not last very long and throw my world into turmoil. Let’s just say 2021 was the year I hit rock bottom with all that had happened I decided to completely step away from the spa life.
And again, fate would let me know that this was not my path.
So 2022 was kind of the reset. Now 2023 I’m proud to press play and let you guys know that I will be in a suite starting March 2023!
My amazing friend has opened her suite to me to help me expand my business!
