this was a combo of teasylights and balayage with a color melt after 2 years of box color. This was her second session with me. with metal detox for the win.

When someone has years of layered Box color on the canvas of the hair sometimes lifting the hair with lighter can be a pain. Depending on how many times you have overlapped, put on your roots, or the whole head there can be risks of banding and discoloration. Extensions are an amazing way to achieve lighter brighter colors without compromising the hairs integrity. In this case after the test strand I figured it would not be conducive to lift her hair as the quality may have wavered. So the next thing I did was root some white blonde Extensions from in order to Achieve this high contrast look. I installed it as a peekaboo option creating a seamless dimensional flow.
