π€ You may not realize this but the recovery and rest is just as important as the training. There are so many performance benefits to having a loose and limber body during fights.
Simply having your body move freely and with less restriction allows you to punch faster and harder πͺ. It also makes it easier to escape pins and holds, especially if it's a joint lock submission attempt π€Ό. This is due to there being more range of motion with the muscles that attach to the tendons surrounding the joints and if you feel like there is less strain, you'll have more of a chance to escape without tapping early.
Athletes especially get extremely tight due to the intense training. Just remember to treat your recovery with the same level of intensity and you'll notice explosive results π
