I was turned onto these by . I don’t like pre-workouts. I have tried so many of them and I just feel icky and jittery. If anything I have an espresso or save a few sips of coffee from the morning. But these ketones are remarkable. They don’t give energy per se. They give mental fortitude and clarity helping whether I want to be creative or want to focus at the gym.

1-3 capfuls on an empty stomach.
Quite expensive so I use 4-5x week before night gym sessions and when I want to do work in the evenings.

Just wanted to share.

Fear is clever. Fear creates a very effective bio-feedback loop that ensures its survival. Fear is afraid of itself, which ensures it never accepts itself, which ensures it always survives.

Dividing the world into objects and then grabbing onto them and wanting to own them is the fear based way of addressing this issue and expresses so clearly the futility of the situation. I acquire only to worry about how to keep what I have acquired.

Acceptance is the trigger that releases the pain and relief floods in. Often it takes monumental events to push us into acceptance, but then we choose to repress the fear and pain again or not.

Every small action makes a groove. These grooves get deeper and deeper and it becomes easier and takes less energy to remain in the groove. This is what we call habits.

When patients come in with unhealthy patterns, the process of starting to etch new paths takes the most will and energy. That is what our purpose is. To draw out the new path and reinforce new grooves. This takes time to deepen these grooves but new habits = new life.

I don’t buy seeds yearly anymore since I primarily grow herbs and one packet lasts me years, but the tradition of thumbing through seed catalogs in the winter is still strong and comforting.

Whatever seasoning (I used curry powder today)
EQUALS LUNCH
37gm protein, 16gm carb, 11gm fat, 15gm fiber)

The news feeds on our limbic system and activates fear. It makes for catchy headlines and attention grabbers, but the news has its place. Informing, educating, connecting and inspiring to name a few. I think that 15 min of news a day gives me what I need without triggering negativity and judgement.

Not sure why the birds allowed us to have this harvest of figs, but grateful that there was only one nibble !!!

In Florida we get a summer and a fall crop of figs, but the summer one is the good one, big, sweet and juicy !

This week for my 3rd meal of the day I made these edamame noodles with purple sweet potatoes

42gm protein , 71gm carb, 10.5gm fat, 15gm fiber)

2oz Explore edamame noodles
2oz seitan
1 cup broccoli
1 cup sweet potatoes
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp garlic
1/2 tbsp ginger
1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar
1/2 tsp brown sugar (optional)

This meal is my heavier carb meal as I eat it before going to the gym. If you remove the sweet potatoes you can change it to 31gm carb instead of 71gm.
