She’s bright. She’s cherry. She’s a joy to be around 🤩
She makes a mighty good lemon-balm-aid 🍋
The benefits of drinking herbal tea are as endless as there are herbs.
Here are a few of my favorite herbal teas and the benefits 🌿
1️⃣ Holy Basil aka Tulsi
An adaptogen, said to clear and balance the 7 primary chakras which points us to how plentiful the benefits are!
It supports the body in balancing hormones.
It supports digestion by reducing bloating, gas, and helps with the breakdown of meat.
It also helps to relax the nervous system which puts the body in -rest and digest- mode, further supporting digestion, while also reducing anxiety and boosting over all mood.
2️⃣ Lemon Balm
Sunshine in a cup. Mood lifting and brightening to one’s spirit. Helping with anxiety and depressive states.
Calming to the nervous system helping you wind down from the day and find rest. Great for daytime and nighttime use without feeling TOO sleepy.
I also love lemon balm for digestive upset associated with anxiety. It’s calming to the tummy, relieving gas, and bloating.
3️⃣ Dandelion Roots
My favorite detoxing plant! Stimulates the liver and gallbladder to release more bile which supports digestion and the breakdown of food.
High in inulin, a prebiotic that feeds the food bacteria in your gut. Also supports balanced blood sugar levels.
Roasted dandelion roots make a delicious tea. It’s also very high in vitamins and minerals.
