A little studio update:

I wanted to give my amazing clients plenty of notice about a temporary change to my schedule this fall and winter.

I’ll be having my surgery toward the end of October and will be taking the months of November and December off to rest, recover, and give myself the time I need to heal properly.

For those of you who need color services while I’m away, I have a wonderful option! Sheryl at Sola will be taking care of my clients during November and December.

If you’d like to see Sheryl, you can text her directly at 813-420-.5633. Please let her know that you are one of my clients and give her your name so she knows who you’re coming from. 🩷💇‍♀️ She will have all my formulas.


When I return in January, I’ll be back to my regular schedule with one small change: beginning in 2027, I’ll be working every other Saturday rather than every Saturday.

I know schedules can fill up quickly, so I wanted to give everyone plenty of advance notice. If you’re hoping to get in before my time away, I have a few appointments left.

I’m so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you—not just for supporting my small business, but for the friendships, conversations, laughs, and memories we’ve shared in my little studio. 🩷🩷🩷 This has been a surreal journey this past year and I have been so lucky to have such an incredible tribe to support me through. Thank you. 🥰

I’m looking forward to taking some time to take care of myself and then getting back behind the chair and seeing all of your beautiful faces in January! Yay! 🎉

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared an update, so I thought it was time.

I’m now well into the second part of chemotherapy, and while things haven’t gone exactly according to schedule, I’m getting there! My blood counts have caused a few treatments to be delayed or adjusted, so my oncologist is keeping a close eye on me and making changes when needed. I’m learning that cancer treatment definitely requires a lot of patience and flexibility. 😊

The really encouraging news is that the lump I could once easily feel is now very difficult for me to find, which gives me so much hope that the treatment is doing exactly what we want it to do. 🙏🏻

Once chemotherapy is behind me, the next big step will be my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction, followed by several weeks away from my stuido while I recover. It feels a little surreal that I’m getting closer to that part of this journey.

I continue to be incredibly grateful for everyone who has checked on me, prayed for me, sent messages, helped us, donated, shared my GoFundMe, or simply reminded me that I’m not doing this alone. I truly appreciate it more than I can say. 🩷
