This is your reminder that not all injectables work the same way. This before & immediate after shows what I love about Radiesse® (calcium hydroxylapatite/CaHA) for the jawline: you can see an immediate improvement in contour and definition, but that’s only part of the story.

Radiesse is different from a traditional HA filler. HA filler primarily works by adding and attracting water to create volume and shape. Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel carrier, which provides immediate structural support and contouring while the CaHA also acts as a biostimulatory material.

Over time, the CaHA scaffold is gradually resorbed while stimulating the surrounding tissue to produce new collagen and other components of the extracellular matrix. In other words: we’re not simply filling a space—we’re creating an environment for your own tissue to remodel.

And the jawline is a perfect example of why anatomy and injection strategy matter. The goal isn’t simply to “add filler to the jaw.” I’m evaluating the relationship between the chin, prejowl area, mandibular border, soft tissue, skin quality and the overall proportions of the lower face. Radiesse can be used to restore definition and support along these structures when appropriately selected and precisely placed.
