Hey guys still getting soaps together. I’ll post them when they’re done. Comment any scent suggestions below👇
Starting to get organized for the April 20th launch! I’ll be making bath bombs this weekend!! Like this post & comment your favorite scents and maybe I’ll make some custom just for you! 🛀🏻
Here’s a fun little video of the aftermath of a recent soap-making session! These are shea butter soaps made with essential oils, so they’re super moisturizing and the fragrances are light and uplifting.
The yellow ones smell very similar to Bath and Body Works ‘Energizing’ scent, and the pink ones are Pomegranate Vanilla! 💖
P.S. the song in the video is “Shreddy Krueger” by Manwolves - a group from Chicago I recently fell in love with.👏😻

Hello everyone! Kirstie here... I just wanted to take a few minutes to talk to you about surfactants. Examples of surfactants include: detergents, wetting agents, emulsifiers, foaming agents, and dispersants. These were added to soaps in the 1950s to decrease harshness, increase foaming ability, and cleanse more dirt and oil from the skin.
The only problem with that is that surfactants do not know when to stop! When the surfactants go beyond the dirt and grime and start to pe*****te the skin's protein and lipid layers, it can be detrimental to the health of your precious skin!
Dove was one of the pioneers in adding surfactants to their soap bar, which sounds fine on paper, but when you look at the damage it can do to your skin overtime it is simply not worth it.
Soap Fiend soaps are produced as naturally as possible, without sulfates or drying surfactants! I am personally passionate about utilizing natural skin care methods, and this shines through in my soap brand. I will always use ethical, healthy, and vegan ingredients to make my products.

The idea for Soap Fiend was born on a day just like any other day.
Liz Nicolo was out and about running errands when she began to ponder the idea of making her own soap. A few Google searches and an AHA! moment later, Liz was on her way to Michael's to buy some soap making supplies!
When she attempted her first batch, Liz felt instantly relaxed from all the wonderful smells. The bars that she made were cucumber/green tea and lavender breeze. After washing her hands with them she knew she had just discovered a new passion!
Now that she has made the bars for her loved ones and received an overwhelmingly positive response she has decided to start selling her soap bars-- focusing on natural, moisturizing soaps that leave your skin feeling nourished and healthy. Soap Fiend Soaps are also made with a Shea butter base, so they are vegan!
Stay tuned to this page for more information as Liz gears up for her OFFICIAL LAUNCH!!!
