Female Spotlight – Meet Carly McClure 💖

• Tell us about yourself!
My name is Carly McClure, and I am the founder of Faces by Carly, where I specialize in natural looking permanent makeup that helps women feel like the best version of themselves. I have spent over 20 years in the beauty industry, and nothing is more rewarding than helping women feel confident while still looking like themselves. Outside of my work, I am a mom of two incredible daughters and love sharing beauty, fashion, and everyday inspiration with my community!

• Biggest strength?
Making people feel seen, comfortable, and confident.

• Proudest accomplishment?
Building a business from the ground up that has served over 1,300 women (and men) while staying true to my values.

• Most inspiring woman in your life?
My mom. She taught me resilience, kindness, and to always trust my instincts.

• Describe yourself in three words.
Determined. Creative. Passionate.

• Best splurge or favorite item in your closet?
A timeless pair of heels. For me, the shoes make the outfit while also giving me unwavering confidence!

• Best advice you’ve received?
Stay in your own lane. Comparison steals joy, but consistency builds confidence.

• Three things you can’t live without.
My daughters, coffee, and my daily Tracy Anderson workouts!

• Best compliment you’ve ever received?
“You make me feel like I can do it, too”!

• Something most people don’t know about you?
Most people assume I am naturally confident because of what I do, but confidence is something I have intentionally built over time. Like anyone else, I have moments of self-doubt, I just don’t let them stop me from showing up for myself. It’s so incredibly important to me as a mother to model confidence for my daughters. I hope they grow up believing in themselves as much as I believe in them.

• A book that everyone should read?
I will admit, I am more of a “let me put on my Spotify playlist” type of gal, but I will have to say – hands down, “The Let Them Theory” by the amazing Mel Robbins.

• Something you want to be doing in 10 years?
Continue to grow my business, enjoying more freedom with people I love, and traveling as much as possible!

• What excites you most right now?
The next chapter – both personally and professionally. Growth can sometimes be uncomfortable, but it’s also where the best things can happen.

One of my favorite things to do in life is to wear a bathing suit as part of my outfit, one of my favorite things to do in summer is to wear bikini tops as a bra, especially underneath a classic button down and ESPECIALLY in the FL summer ☀️

I’ll be 42 next week.
And the biggest thing I wish I knew at 32?

Confidence has nothing to do with perfection.

It’s learning to trust yourself.
To stop shrinking.
To stop explaining yourself.
To stop caring about who misunderstands you.

Femininity isn’t weakness. It’s strength.
Softness isn’t insecurity. It’s power.
And taking up space doesn’t make you “too much.”

There’s something incredibly powerful about a woman who no longer needs permission to take up space.

So whatever your age-
find your strength.
Your power.
Your embodiment.

Stop caring what people think about you, say about you, or how they drift away when you evolve.

Be so authentically yourself that the right people and opportunities naturally align with you ✨
